Cubans themselves say that the beaches of the Caribbean side are much better than the ones on the Atlantic. For one, the water is at least one or two degrees warmer. Not less important is the fact that there are also not so many people there, as for example in Varadero.
This picture was taken not far from Trinidad, not yet reaching Playa Anacon. On a Sunday afternoon only few locals were enjoying the beautiful day, and not a single other tourist was in sight.
