I was waiting patiently for my husband to finish taking pictures of some pink bush in the hotel garden, when I noticed a pair of eyes on my from the nearby palm. Blue head, bright green body, something alien-like! Of course, the pink bush was no longer relevant and the next five minutes until this anole got shy from all the attention, we were focused on him (apparently the blue head indicates it’s a him?). This is supposedly A.Alissoni, which are very widespread in Cuba.
