After more than two and a half years of work, our first book is finally here! Our book, “Sapņu mednieku ceļojums: pirmie soļi pasaulē” (in Latvian) has now reached readers. We’ve diligently worked to make the book enjoyable not only for the eyes but also for the mind and soul, selecting the most interesting adventures from our travels and behind-the-scenes moments from the first four years of our blog. It’s a great pleasure that this book reaches readers during the blog’s tenth anniversary!

About the Book:
Alīna and Jēkabs Andrušaitis are Latvian travelers who have visited 60 countries, using only their vacation time, as they both work full-time jobs. Their history as travel storytellers began with a win in a National Geographic travel story competition, after which they decided to establish the blog www.sapnumedniece.lv.
In the book “Sapņu mednieku ceļojums: pirmie soļi pasaulē” you’ll read about the couple’s adventures in over 20 countries, from the islands of Curaçao in the Caribbean Sea to the Palau islands in the Pacific Ocean, complemented by vibrant photographs. On the book’s pages, you can not only join them on their adventures but also get a glimpse into previously unpublished behind-the-scenes moments of the blog’s creation and their travels.

Reader Reviews for the Book:
“Have you ever wished to get a photo from a forbidden place during your travels, to enter where others haven’t, to discover what not everyone knows, longed to experience the maximum, but your only obstacles are sleep and the number of hours in a day? That’s exactly how genuine, human, and truthful Alīna’s carefully recorded stories and emotions are, brightened by Jēkabs’ delightful photographic vision. The adventures are intertwined with valuable and useful information, yet they never become boring for a moment. Thanks to this book, we can simply enjoy it carelessly, gain new perspectives, maintain our passion for travel, and catch ourselves already looking for tickets for the next adventure.”
— Linda Samsonova – radio personality and active traveler
“Those who have enthusiastically followed Reverie Chaser’s travels for years and used Alīna’s advice will find treasures here – previously undiscovered stories. Honest with themselves and the world, they give everyone the opportunity to decide where to participate and where not to, and how to relate to what is happening. In my opinion, that is a special talent for observation that definitely helps us all become better. And Jēkabs’ pictures, yes, they are fabulous!”
— Kristīne Rudzinska – Editor-in-Chief of “LILITA” and “LILIT LOOK” magazines, also an enthusiastic traveler
“Widely and deeply described travel details. Among the descriptions, useful information can be found for both those who are just starting to travel and experienced world travelers. The photographs visualize what is described and easily allow you to feel the experiences. Dream Hunters have maintained a connection with their readers on the blog from the very beginning, and that can be felt when reading the book. Flipping through the book, you want to check your passport’s validity and go on one of the described journeys to experience even a tiny bit of it all.”
— Kārlis Buškevics – photographer, capturer of travels and beautiful places
