I almost never buy any souvenirs when I visit, the only exception being magnets. If I bring something for the relatives, it’s usually something practical or even better – edible. I know I don’t particularly fancy small statues of any kinds from the places I have never been to, and I believe it’s much the same for others. However, there one one shop in Prague where I felt like buying half the store, Blue souvenirs. I especially liked the cat cups, those remind of the old times when we had this type of pots and cups in every soviet kitchen. None of those where that pretty, though. In the end I purchased a small magnet, but with a mole, the beloved character from Czech cartoon I grew up with.
