The Grand Canyon has many faces. At sunrise, sunset, on a hot summers day and on a foggy one in early spring. Sometimes visitors do get lucky and the Canyon presents on a clear day with just a few nicely shaped clouds. But if you are only visiting, you have to be prepared that it will be dark red, fog covering distant peaks and quite cold too. I’m glad we decided to stay the second night and the next day the weather was much nicer. Read more about the Grand Canyon National Park and other adventures on the west coast here.
