The Unreachable Tenerife

My first memories of Canary Islands are when I was at the airport, waving goodbye to my dad (who was going on his first big journey to London) and someone asked us if we were headed to Tenerife. In my mind Canary Islands was something where ordinary people didn’t and couldn’t go. Something so unreachable that I did not have the fainest idea where those are. Now, having been there as adult I can tell that they are very much reachable and I would gladly return there one day. Nowadays getting there is much easier than it was some fifteen or twenty years ago. Many charters fly there as well as you can combine something using the cheap airlines.
