Neon Museum

neon museum las vegas casino history usa roadtrip nevada

The one place I truly enjoyed in Las Vegas was the Neon Museum. The museum offers a wide collection of signs that used to be on the streets, advertising casinos and many other places, and, as some of them are not in a too good condition, it’s mandatory to take an organized tour and you are not allowed to wander on your own. Usually I am skeptical of organized groups, as the place is too slow (or on the contrary – too fast) and most of the things you can read yourself, but this was an exceptionally well organized tour! The guide was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of information on the history of the city and how the signs work. If you are ever in vicinity, highly recommend!
