Where to eat in Seychelles? As affordable housing you may have, the food is not cheap in Seychelles, as almost nothing is grown locally and has to be transported from somewhere, even if it’s from the capital island Mahe. Tourist places can be very expensive, with roughly 20 euro price tag for a small meal, but there are gems like this one on La Digue – Gala Takeaway. The food is not fancy by any means, but is tasty and very affordable. Fried chicken or french fries are also not the healthiest choices either, but having eaten here almost every day while on La Digue and constantly walking around the island we came back in a better shape than we arrived.
